Practical accounting training program

The program is designed for recently employed graduates, graduates looking for accounting jobs and accountants without local experience. The candidates will actually perform core accounting tasks including creating and maintaining project accounts, invoicing, maintaining fixed assets register and fixed asset accounting, month end journals, revenue recognition, GL review and fixing common errors, bank and GL reconciliation, management report, preparing BAS and more.

Who will benefit from this program?

  • Small businesses and medium businesses: Not all small and medium businesses can afford experienced accountants. Further, it is not easy to find a candidate with enough skills and experience, who will be able to work as accounts all-rounder. Businesses usually don’t have the time and resource to train a newly hired accountant. With this three days’ training a fresh graduates or less experienced accountant will be able to work as accounts all-rounder with minimum further guidance.
  • Graduates looking for accounting jobs: Account graduates know the accounting principles and are also trained on some accounting software. Most of them go for professional year/ internship programme. However, most of the businesses which accepts Professional Year/ internship candidates don’t provide useful training and guidance to the candidates. As a result most of the PY/ internship candidates just perform some repetitive tasks and by the end of the program they will learn just few tasks done in isolation. As a result most of account graduates don’t even have a clear idea of what they need to do when they work as an accountant. We provide them an opportunity to use their accounting knowledge in real life situation. They will get a real experience of working as accounts all-rounder by completing a whole monthly accounting cycle for a demo company with real like data and transactions.
  • Accountants without local experience: Accountants with overseas experience usually have difficulty getting the first accounting job in Australia. With this training they will have a feel for doing accounting in Australian context. It will give the candidates a level of confidence and an edge over other candidates.

How this program is different from others

This program is designed and conducted by Bipul Gyawali, CPA who has been in various accounting roles, in Sydney, from Assistant Account in small company to Head of Reporting of a big multinational company. He is still working part time in an ASX company. He managed a big team of Finance Managers and Accountants. He has interviewed and recruited numerous accounting candidates. He has trained and mentored many fresh accountants who eventually became Finance Managers. Therefore, Bipul is in the perfect positon to know the core skills needed in an accounts all-rounder in Australia and the knowledge gap in fresh accountants. This training program is designed in view of the core skills needed and the knowledge gap.

Each candidate will have access to a demo company’s account maintained in cloud. They will learn by independently doing all monthly accounting tasks and making the accounts ready for month end reporting and BAS preparation. They will also learn core spreadsheet skills.


We are not a registered training organisation (RTO) and the training we provide will not be an accredited vocational education or training.


Businesses – $1,500 per employee

Job seekers – $1,000 ($500 paid before or on the first day of training and balance paid after securing an accounting job)
